Swiss Chard - Flamingo

Flamingo Swiss Chard is a vibrant and eye-catching variety known for its brilliant, neon-pink stalks and contrasting deep green, crinkled leaves. This beautiful plant serves as both a stunning ornamental in garden borders and a nutritious, mild-flavored green for the kitchen. Unlike some chards that become bitter in the heat, Flamingo maintains its sweet, earthy flavor and tender texture throughout the season.
The bright pink stalks should not be confused with 'Rhubarb' chard (which is deep red) or 'Peppermint' chard (which is striped pink and white).
This is a popular choice for adding a pop of "electric" color to salads or as a heat-tolerant spinach substitute.
