We strive to get orders to the post office within 1-3 days after being placed. Orders made around holidays or on weekends may take a little longer to ship.
We do not ship internationally at this time. Please check back.
Bear Mountain Seed Company makes great effort to store and ship our seeds properly to ensure that you will have success cultivating.
We value your satisfaction, and would want to be given the opportunity to make things right if we have made any errors on our part.
Please inspect your package and seeds within 24-48 hours and reach out to us by email with your best contact information if you have any questions or concerns.
Once the seed leaves our possession we cannot, and will not guarantee, against loss due to local seasonal weather conditions, neglect, disease, or damage from insect, animals or pests, acts of nature etc. as these conditions are outside of our control.
We reserve the right to request photos of good representation for any issues or concerns
If an error has been made on our part, please do not return your order until speaking with us first and try to keep the packaging and product together just the way you received it.
We cannot be responsible for USPS treatment of packages. Our mail is sent with insurance to help regarding any possible issue with this.

As a cooperative, we do not offer local pickup. We prioritize fast shipping of our heirloom seeds across the entire United States, ensuring everyone can enjoy them.
We copy the address to our shipping labels that you have entered. If we do not have a good address, it goes back to our PO BOX that we do not check every day due to its distance.
It takes us approximately 1.5 hrs to retrieve a returned package as our PO Box is a great distance. Unfortunately we cant always drop what we are doing to make that trip, so we cannot guarantee a quick turn around on returned packages.
Please, Double check your address before placing your order. If you know you have made a mistake, reach out to us immediately with one of these methods below. If you need help with your order, please reach out to us, we would be more than happy to help!
If a mistake is made, it is not a huge deal if you reach out to us promptly. But do not correct your address on your own, it may only get corrected in the customer directory. Once you enter your address for an order, that is where the system is going to send it. We have to correct it on our end manually.

If we do not respond in a reasonable amount of time, try each method until we respond to you. We do get busy, but we want to catch it before it gets sent out.
If this happens and you met the requirement for free shipping, we will not honor a second free ship. You will have to pay for normal shipping and handling costs. Depending on the size of the order, a reship will start at $6.95. We will have to recoup the handling (gas, time and repackaging) & packaging material if necessary, as well as the shipping cost.
If we cant reach you when this happens, or you refuse to pay for Shipping and Handling, we are unable to refund your order. We cannot restock seeds that have been in transit. Not only is this very time consuming for us, but a huge loss as well, since we have to drive 2.5 hours to track down your seed order, and the potential loss of seeds.
Make sure you are entering a good phone number, email address and physical address. And check them consistently if you have made an order. This is how we will reach you if there is ever an issue.

We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website.
If we ever have a stock discrepancy, and are unable to fulfill all your items at the time of purchase, we will reach out to you by email or phone and ask if you want a replacement item.
If we are unable to reach you in a timely manner, we will fulfill the available products to you, and either process a refund for the out-of-stock item(s), or replace it with something similar.
So it is very important for you to fill out your email address and phone number so that we may reach you.
We do our best to keep our shipping as low as possible. We do not profit on our shipping, we often take a hit due to the cost of packaging supplies and drop off costs to USPS.
All of our packages are sent in a secure bubble envelope or box depending on the size. All orders are shipped using USPS.
Items that are not seeds will have additional shipping costs.
