This classic heirloom variety (Ipomoea purpurea) is a gardener’s favorite for its fast-growing, vigorous vines and iconic, heart-shaped leaves. The Tall Mix creates a breathtaking vertical display, producing a seasonal tapestry of large, trumpet-shaped blooms in shades of deep indigo, violet, fuchsia, rose, and brilliant white. These hardy vines can easily reach heights of 8 to 15 feet, making them a perfect natural screen for fences, trellises, or porch railings. Loved by hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees, these flowers famously open to greet the morning sun and gracefully close by afternoon.

Planting Instructions:
- Preparation: Morning Glory seeds have a very hard coat. Its not necessary, but to improve germination, nick the seeds with a file or sandpaper and soak them in warm water for 24 hours before planting.
- Sowing: Direct sow in a sunny location after the last frost once the soil has warmed to at least 65°F. If starting indoors, use Peat Pots to avoid disturbing the sensitive roots during transplanting.
- Support: Ensure a sturdy trellis, fence, or arbor is in place before planting, as these vines climb rapidly once established.
- Care: Water regularly to keep soil moist but not soggy. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers, which can result in more of the heart-shaped foliage but fewer flowers.
Caution: Seeds are toxic if ingested. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
