What is Cos lettuce? Cos lettuce is known as a romaine lettuce; a variety of lettuce that is known for its long, narrow leaves and crisp texture.
Winter Density Romaine variety is tolerant to both heat and frost. Heads are slow to bolt, and they can grow to be 9-10" long. The heads get rounded and compact with tightly folded dark green leaves.
