Lemon Balm is a self-seeding plant, so it can spread and further its growth. However, while this plant grows much like mint, it is not as invasive. It has a wonderful citrus aroma with a touch of mint. The leaves are amazing in teas!

It is believed to soothe symptoms of depression, anxiety, the common cold, and this herb is loaded with vitamins and antioxidants. This can also be turned into essential oils.

Picking this to make tea with, is far better than store bought, as it is at its freshest stage,

Lemon balm does not require additional feeding beyond what nutrition the soil provides, you can treat it with a light liquid fertilizer every few weeks to encourage growth. But keep in mind, fertilizing some herbs has been known to decrease the potency of their scent and/or flavor—if you're growing lemon balm specifically for cooking, you can likely skip fertilizing it and still be just fine.
