The Sunspot Sunflower grow to a convenient size of 30-36" tall. Even though its considered semi dwarf, the flower head still grows to be around 10" wide. Seed Count: 30 Maturity: 65-80 days Hardiness Zone: 2-10 Planting Depth: Plant 2-3 seeds ½" deep Plant Spacing: 8 inches Growth Habit: 30-36" tall semi-dwarfed upright with 8-10" spread and one bright 10" head Soil Preference: Average, loamy, well-drained Light Preference: Full sun Sow directly outdoors after last frost. For earlier blooms, sow Sunspot seeds 3-4 weeks indoors prior to final frost with germination occurring in 10-15 days.  Sunspot sunflowers may need staking if plants are grown isolated.
