Carrot - Parisian, Parisienne

Parisian carrots are a unique, small, round, orange heirloom carrot variety that originated in France in the 19th century. They are known for their sweet flavor and are often used by gourmet restaurants.

This variety of carrot has roots that are very short, practically globe shaped. Like all carrots, it does best in well-drained and sandy soils, but unlike others, it can grow in rocky and difficult soil.
