Improved Long Green Slicing: This cucumber was introduced in the 1870's. It is a strong, vigorous producer of 10" long cucumbers. Some will exceed 12" and more. Excellent for slicing or can be pickled when picked smaller.

Sow indoors, or sow seeds outside only after danger of frost. You can make a second sowing 4 to 5 weeks later for a late summer or early fall harvest.

If you intend on planting in hills, plant only 4-5 seeds in 1-foot-diameter circles. Space 5-6 feet apart.
