Golden Acre is an excellent early summer variety ball head cabbage. It has small to medium-sized green, round solid heads on compact plants with few outer leaves.
It is ideal for small confined spaces and can be grown in containers. Its suggested to use at least a 5 gallon container.
Seedlings can be set out in early spring for a summer crop, and in June for the fall crop. In hot climates, plant early or in late summer to fall for winter and spring harvests.
