When to Start Shopping for Your 2026 Garden Seeds
The best time to start shopping for your 2026 garden seeds is late fall through early winter of 2025. Seed batches are harvested, tested, and stocked, always giving you the freshest, highest-quality varieties. Popular seeds often sell out quickly, so ordering early ensures you get everything you want for spring planting.
For most growers, the ideal window is:
(depending on your zone)
November–January: Buy seeds and plan your garden.
February–April: Start indoor seedlings depending on your growing zone.
April–June: Direct-sow outdoors once frost danger has passed.
Starting early means better selection, better germination, and a stress-free start to your 2026 growing season.
