The Kentucky Wonder Heirloom is a green pole bean with seven to nine inch long, fleshy (rather coarse), fibreless pods.
It's a vigorous, heirloom variety known for high yields of meaty, stringless, green pods that can be harvested as snap beans or allowed to mature for drying. It is a productive, disease-resistant, and drought-tolerant bean that requires a climbing support like a trellis or poles and is best planted after the last frost in full sun and warm soil.
