Hyacinth - Ruby Moon

Beautiful fragrant flowers. Ruby Moon Hyacinth Beans are not fussy about soil type but do best when planted in full sun. These vigorous growers do require a sturdy support that is approx. 10 to 15 feet high or length. Many gardeners grow this lovely vine on a sturdy trellis, fence, or arbor. The vines can be trained periodically to go where you want the vine to grow.

Hyacinth is a vigorous, ornamental vining plant with dark foliage, lilac-rose flowers, and shiny magenta pods.

Seed Count: 15 large beans

Seed Depth: 1" deep

Soak seeds 6-8 hrs before planting to speed germination.

While they can be grown as perennials, most gardeners in the US tend to grow hyacinth beans as an annual. Once they're established, though, they'll readily self-seed.
