Introduced around 1871, this is one of the oldens known wax beans, and is an improved golden wax type. The pods are stringless, straight, slightly flattened and a shade of light-yellow, with a rich buttery flavor. Great for a beginner gardener, as it is very easy to grow, requiring very little care. The golden yellow pods create a beautiful accent in your garden.
Excellent yields and good for northern and southern climate. Perfect bean for canning, freezing and delicious in a 3 bean salad.
